ADO?

Why can't you use ODBC?
If that is out of the picture, I would suggest trying ADO. You can find some info here:

If you are on a non-Windows operating system, you probably have to use JDBC.

Also, you can't "import data to a view". You import data (records in Access) to documents in Notes. The views are designed to display documents matching a specific criteria.

If you need code written, you need to provide much more information, including a sample Access database. Contact me offline at texasswede@gmail.com and we can discuss. Or I am sure there are other here that could also write the code for you.
